House

Teased as Esibayeni seNkomo a term used to refer to grade 10 learners.
The foundation stone of Etheridge House was laid by Harold St John's in 1939. The Etheridge House was previously a hostel for boarding students.
Now it's one of the big buildings within the whole Community accommodating more than 500 learners from grade 8,9 and 10. It also includes a staff room for some educators

On the left side is a glance picture showing within the Etheridge house.
Then on the right is a picture dated far back as you can see at the time the white painted stones written "Etheridge house" was still clearly visible.

A stress relieving place when quiet and less busy as in this picture on the right. It is usually this quiet on Saturdays ,you feeeeeeel the air and peace around you. One can utilize the building for studying purposes during the weekend or just a time away from the hostel.

FUN FACT: In 2018 and 2019 learners were to run from the gate until at a point by the aunties, if they are late for morning classes or assemble. This was a result of a decrease in the percentage pass for grade 8 and 10. The force behind this was the Principal himself, he would get to school early for that.

Prefebs
This is a great place to add a tagline.
The Prefebs accommodate some of the grade 9 and 8 classes. They also include a Library which can be utilized by all learners for study purposes at different times of course.
Just by the Library, there is a room that serves as collection room for traditional items, artifacts and some of the previous designers of the St Johns uniforms.
This is also a good place for learners who enjoy studying in a quiet place because most of the times there is few roaming people around it.
chlling zones for learners especially during a sport day or on a sunny d ay during lunch one can enjoy a shade under the trees with his or her friends.
THE BASKET AND TENNIS COURT
More on the court is covered under SPORTS menu, check that out. From the point of view of a person within the court, they are able to see that there is those lab chairs for chilling. It is a nice place and view for capturing those beautiful pictures for the photogenetic learners.
